Kristin Maun
In 2008, Kristin earned a BS in Journalism and a BA in English from Northwestern University. Currently, she is preparing to attend law school while working as a marketing assistant for a non-profit dedicated to reproductive freedom and sexual health.
Kristin has worked as a writer for newspapers, magazines and online publications. She is a contributor for PresentMagazine.com and in the past she has been a political commentator for MTV.com's blog Visible Vote08 and a political blogger for Showtime and OurChart.com's blog Wake Up. She was also the blog editor for WindyCitizen.com and wrote the blog "The Skirt," about feminism in Chicago.
Currently, she is writing a blog called The Yellow Brick Road Trip about her travels to see the interesting, unique and just plain weird roadside attractions of the Midwest.
